ART LESSONS
C R E A T I V E F U N O N F R I D A Y’ S
This Friday we'll continue with Charcoal Drawings, focusing on Hands! And the week there after we’ll use the same medium on a still life. The fourth week we’ll start with Charcoal…challenging ourselves to draw an object in motion and then incorporate acrylic paint.
For ‘Hands in Charcoal’ You will need:
x 4 sheets of A2 Sketching Paper or anything else +_ that size to draw on!
x1 heavy bodied sketching paper
Charcoal, pastel or soft pencil
Apron and / or old clothes
We’ll do a few loosening up exercises before we start on a more detailed drawing, embrace free movement, line intensity and shadows.
For the final drawing you are welcome to bring the paper of your choice (Pastel or a smooth heavy bodied sketching paper will do)
The image on the left is an example of line usage with charcoal,
pencil & cola pen.
